Dadurch öffnet sich der Brustkorb und die Wirbelsäule wird sanft in die Streckung gebracht. Im Gegensatz zu einem rollenden Massage-Effekt steht hier die statische Dehnung und Gelenkmobilisation im Vordergrund. Diese Übung ist besonders hilfreich für Menschen, die viel Zeit im Sitzen oder am Schreibtisch verbringen, da sie einer nach vorne geneigten Haltung und nach innen gedrehten Schultern entgegenwirkt.
